I am the first one raising their hand to do second hand shopping, if I need anything. It is just a wonderful think to do to support the slow fashion. Something you can not see with your eyes, but I know it is there. I am not talking about knowing her like what does she drink and eat, what does she read etc. What detergent did she use? Did she use fabric softener? Gross, right? But now imagine the dirt, dust, grime, and bacteria are from somebody else? I learned how to deep clean laundry with laundry stripping a while ago.
Also laundry stripping is not the most necessary part of my cleaning ritual, it was just obvious that I had to do this with all the second hand clothes. Because believe me, it really makes a big difference. Getting rid of all the stuff that keeps your clothes from smelling, looking, and feeling their best.
